Deposits & cancellations
A $500 reservation deposit blocks your dates and is separate from the wedding package price. Cancel 60 days or more before the event for a full refund, including the deposit. If you cancel less than 60 days before the event, the $500 deposit is retained and other package payments are refunded.
At check-in, the reservation deposit becomes a damage deposit. It is refunded within three days after checkout, less any approved damage deductions under the signed agreement.
Payments & package changes
Once your date is confirmed, you can pay towards your balance all at once or in installments. Your package must be paid in full at least 60 days before the event. Otherwise, the event may be cancelled and payments refunded less the $500 deposit.
Your package and guest count can be adjusted as you plan. If your wedding date is less than 60 days away, email us to confirm payment arrangements.
Food, drinks & décor
Bring your own alcohol and other drinks. Hire licensed caterers to bring food or cook in their food trucks; the lighthouse kitchen is not for preparing food for reception guests. The venue team does not provide wait service. If you hire wait staff, make sure they have current food-handler credentials. Bring plates, napkins and utensils, or arrange them with your caterer. Provide your own lightweight décor, such as decorative linens, centerpieces and flowers, to create your wedding's theme.
Only cold sparklers are allowed, at least 5 feet from wooden structures. Fireworks are allowed on the beach behind the rope. Overnight guests may enjoy a bonfire after the reception; please bring firewood.
Coastal conditions
Our beachfront venue is surrounded by miles of undeveloped nature. Weather, tides, wildlife and mosquitoes are largely beyond our control, and storms can disrupt power and internet service.
Our 108-nozzle mosquito misting system provides only partial relief. When mosquito activity is high, our team sprays pesticides before the event and provides citronella tiki torches and skin repellents. To avoid pesticide exposure, we do not spray during the event while guests are present and tables are set.
Before your visit, check the local weather forecast and mosquito activity forecast, and bring appropriate footwear and clothing.
Marriage license
Arrange your Texas marriage license before the ceremony. There is generally a 72-hour waiting period after the license is issued; it expires if the ceremony has not taken place before the 90th day. Exceptions to the waiting period apply, including for active-duty military applicants.

Other gatherings
Anniversaries, romantic getaways and family vacations may be possible. Parties require written approval, so contact us before booking a non-wedding event. The venue cannot be booked by anyone under 21, and one adult over 21 is required for every four guests under 21.
